The fee to form your multiple member LLC is $750.00 + the state’s registration fee.
- Corporations
For corporations, we will help you properly incorporate your business, provide you with a custom set of organizational documents including articles of incorporation, bylaws, a shareholder agreement, the initial board resolution and a stock register for just $1,000 + the state’s registration fee.
Choose a type of entity
We’ll help you understand the important differences between the types of business entities, including the tax consequences, limitations on liability, and implications for subsequent financing and liquidity events. Once we’ve helped you identify the issues important to your business, we’ll help you decide which entity is best for your business.
Form the entity
We’ll file all the necessary paperwork with the state. We’ll secure an Employer Identification Number for your business so you can open up a bank account in your business’ name. We’ll also submit your application for a master business license with the state.
Custom-tailored governing documents
We’ll draft custom governing documents (e.g. articles of incorporation, bylaws, members agreements, etc.) for your business. The documents that govern the internal operation of your company are vital to your company’s success. These documents define the relationship between the founders and provide the ground rules for future decision-making. When properly drafted, governing documents can help founders avoid internal conflict so they can focus on results for their company.
Plan for Intellectual Property
We’ll help you identify intellectual property issues for your company, and help you create a plan to protect your intellectual property. Application for patent, copyright, or trademark registration is unique to each client and therefore we cannot fairly include these services in our base rate.
